A prenup photoshoot is a must for most couples these days. With so many options to choose from, you may get overwhelmed in picking the right location for you. So, if you are about to say “I do,” here’s a list of my top ten choices in Cebu, which I have carefully selected from my years of experience as a photoshoot stylist.
1. La Vie in the Sky
Offering the same selection of wines and Parisian food and cozy artistic interiors as La Vie Parisienne, La Vie in the Sky has the view of Cebu City’s skyline that elevates wining and dining into a more refreshing experience. It has also become a well-known location of prenup photoshoots because of the overall sophistication of the restaurant’s interior design. There are quirky corners, as well as vintage looking setups, which provide plenty of photoshoot theme possibilities.
It may be quite a long ride from the city, but Sileo Bed and Breakfast in Balamban is becoming a go-to prenup photoshoot location for its closeness to nature, the majestic view of its neighboring mountains, a rustic-looking house, and overall relaxing atmosphere.
Nature-loving couples have endless options for their prenup photoshoots here in Cebu, including Lava Mountain River Farm, which is an eco-resort tucked in the mountains of Busay. Surrounded by lush greenery and situated near a river, it brings a peaceful vibe that makes breathtaking photos. There is also a waterfall, which can be reached after a 1-hour river trek, that can be a good location if you’re up for it!
Ever dreamed of staying in a cozy cabin nestled in the woods, sitting by the fireplace beside your significant other, having deep and meaningful conversations until you fall asleep? That’s what Big Q Farm is all about and that’s what makes it one of the most popular prenup photoshoot locations in Cebu. It doesn’t stop there though. You can also take photos outdoors, surrounded by greens and tall trees, and one of their beautiful horses can even join you!
A place that recently opened this year, Maayo Hotel Argao is increasingly gaining popularity nowadays, not only for vacationers, but for wedding and photoshoot venues as well. The place looks like it was inspired by a mix of Moroccan and Mediterranean architecture. At first glance, and without photo geotags, you’d almost think it’s not located in the Philippines!
At first glance, it seems like an ordinary resort with a swimming pool, but what makes it special are the resident horses that can be your companions in your prenup photoshoot. They also have a botanical garden, an aviary, a bee farm, and an activity area with zip line and trampoline if you want to be adventurous in your photoshoot.

7. Temple of Leah
Featuring Roman and Greek architecture, life-sized statues, a mini replica of the Louvre pyramid in Paris, Temple of Leah looks like different places of the world rolled into one and has got to be one of the most photographed places in Cebu. There are many different picturesque spots around the area, so even with throngs of tourists present, you can still get your dream prenup photos here. Just like the Taj Mahal, Temple of Leah is a symbol of one’s undying love to another, which makes it a perfect location to capture a couple’s love for each other in photographs.
Built during the late 17th century, the Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House in Parian is one of the oldest houses in the country. It may look worn and beaten from the outside, but the antiquity of its interiors makes a perfect setting for a traditional Filipino set-up or even just a dressy casual theme. It would add a vintage twist to your photos for sure!
You can never go wrong with a prenup photoshoot in a garden, right? A drive up to the highlands is worth it when you are greeted by the beauty of nature. Sandra’s Garden is a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the city, and it resembles the pine forests of Baguio City. No need to travel far to get that perfect shot in the midst of pine trees because we have it here in Cebu too!
10. Circa 1900
Ancestral residences with lush gardens turned into restaurants and event venues, Circa 1900 adds a touch of modern vintage to your photographs. Whether you want a classy indoor shoot in any of the restaurants or an outdoor photoshoot showcasing the gardens and the beautiful white exteriors of the converted homes, this place would suit various themes, from casual to formal. Plenty of couples have also chosen Circa 1900 as their wedding and reception venue, especially those who prefer intimate ceremonies and celebrations.
